Stone Temple Pilots

In May 2018, when Stone Temple Pilots delivered their live performance at the MAPFRE Stadium during the Rock on the Range festival, they had recently released their self-titled album, "Stone Temple Pilots," in March of that year. This album marked a significant moment in their career as it was their first studio project to feature new lead vocalist Jeff Gutt, following the departure of long-time frontman Scott Weiland and the subsequent passing of Chester Bennington. Gutt's addition re-energized the band, allowing them to explore new musical directions while still honoring their established sound. The setlist from the performance showcased a blend of classic hits, such as "Wicked Garden" and "Vasoline," alongside the fresh energy from their latest material, illustrating an exciting phase of revitalization for the band in the live arena.
