Phish

On August 26, 2023, Phish performed a live set at the Broadview Stage at SPAC in Saratoga Springs, New York, showcasing their dynamic and improvisational style. Prior to this recording, the band released their album "Sigma Oasis" in April 2020, which marked their first studio album in four years and demonstrated their continued evolution as a live act. The concert served as a benefit for flood recovery efforts in Vermont and Upstate New York, highlighting the band's community-focused ethos. Notably, the performance featured guest guitarist Derek Trucks during select songs, bringing a fusion of blues and rock to the set. The improvisational quality of their live performances is a hallmark of Phish's appeal, and this particular show also included the tease of “If I Only Had a Brain,” showcasing their clever intertextuality and playful spirit.
