Umphrey’s McGee

In October 2012, when Umphrey's McGee performed the mash-up of "Exodus," "Life During Wartime," and "City of Tiny Lights" at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, the band was well-established as a prominent force in the jam band scene. By this time, they had released their eighth studio album, "Similar Skin," which came out in 2014. However, prior to this live performance, they had released "Death by Stereo" in 2010. Known for their dynamic live shows and intricate musical arrangements, Umphrey’s McGee blends various genres, which is highlighted in this mash-up featuring classics from Bob Marley, Talking Heads, and Frank Zappa. This performance also showcases the band’s collaborative spirit, with vocalist Charlie appearing to enhance the experience, making it a memorable event for fans.
