Umphrey’s McGee

On August 25, 2023, Umphrey’s McGee performed a live set at Salvage Station in Asheville, North Carolina, featuring their songs "Plunger" and "In The Kitchen." At this point in their career, the band had recently released their album "You Walked Up Shaking in Your Boots but I Stood Up Straight" in 2022, which showcased their continued evolution in blending rock, jazz, and funk genres. Known for their dynamic live performances and improvisational style, Umphrey’s McGee has established a dedicated fanbase and has been a staple in the jam band scene since their formation in 1997. The choice of venue, a popular spot known for intimate shows, highlights the band's connection with their audience.
