Pink Floyd

The live recording "Pigs on the Wing / Dogs" performed by Roger Waters on April 1, 2000, during the In The Flesh Tour, comes after a period of significant evolution for Pink Floyd. Prior to this tour, the band released their acclaimed album "The Final Cut" in 1983, which was notably Waters' final studio album with the band. During the late 1990s, the original members pursued solo projects, and it wasn't until 1994 that they reunited for "The Division Bell." Waters' 2000 tour reintroduced classic Pink Floyd material, emphasizing his contributions, particularly from the albums "Animals" (1977) and "The Wall" (1979). An interesting fact about this performance is that while it showcased Waters' vocal and lyrical mastery, it also highlighted the tensions within the band, as Waters had departed from Pink Floyd in 1985 due to creative differences, leading to a complex relationship with his former bandmates.
