Widespread Panic

Widespread Panic was riding a wave of creativity and popularity around the time of their live recording in Winston-Salem on August 6, 2000. This show fell just after the release of *'Bingo'* in 1999, which showcased a blend of their signature Southern rock, jam band vibe, and bluesy undertones. By this time, they already had a dedicated following, thanks to their extensive touring and electric live performances. It’s interesting to note that this particular show was at the Jomeokee Jam festival, a unique event that brought together a vibrant community of music lovers. Plus, having special guests like Danny and Eric from Bloodkin adds another layer of excitement to the performance, melding various influences into their sound. The love and camaraderie on stage and with the crowd really encapsulated the spirit of Widespread Panic, making it clear why they continue to resonate with audiences even today.
