Dr. Dog

In April 2010, when Dr. Dog delivered that electrifying live performance of "Stranger" at Lee's Palace in Toronto, they were riding high on the momentum of their album *Broom*, which released a few years prior, in 2003. It was around this time that they were really starting to carve out their niche in the indie rock scene. Their sound had been described as infused with a mix of 60s rock and modern sensibilities. Interestingly, Dr. Dog had just released *Shame, Shame* in 2008, which featured a slight evolution in their style, embracing more polished production while still maintaining that raw, infectious energy.
