Rush

In July 2015, during the R40 tour, Rush was celebrating an incredible milestone: their 40th anniversary as a band. Just before hitting the stage in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, they had released "Clockwork Angels" back in 2012, which was their final studio album. This was a remarkable work, offering a blend of progressive rock and rich storytelling, peppered with lyrics that hinted at themes of time and fate—very much in-line with Rush's signature style. The concert featured fan favorites, including "Jacob's Ladder," showcasing their intricate musicianship and masterful live performances. Interestingly, this tour served as a retrospective of their career, as they revisited songs from almost every era, drawing in both long-time fans and newcomers. It was a fitting homage to their evolution over four decades, reminding everyone of their indelible impact on rock music.
