Wilco

On April 30, 2023, Wilco performed at the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium in Athens, Ohio, as part of the Mountain Stage Radio Show. By this time, Wilco had recently released their album "Cruel Country" in May 2022. This work saw them returning to their Americana roots, blending thoughtful lyrics with a laid-back sound that can capture the heart of anyone tuning in. What's fascinating is how they’ve continued to evolve as artists while still embracing the essence of storytelling through music. With Jeff Tweedy at the helm, you can expect songs that resonate with both personal and universal themes. The lineup also boasts Nels Cline on guitar and Mikael Jorgensen on keys, adding depth and texture to their live performances.
