In September 2008, Queen, accompanied by Paul Rodgers, took the stage in Ukraine for a live performance of “Say It's Not True.” This concert was part of the collaboration between the legendary band and former Free and Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers, who joined Queen in 2004. Prior to this live recording, Queen had released "The Cosmos Rocks" in 2008, marking their first studio album with Rodgers at the helm. This album showcases a unique blend of Rodgers' rock influences and Queen's signature sound. Interestingly, “Say It's Not True” was penned by Rodgers specifically for the band, highlighting the emotional connection they’ve maintained, especially in live settings. The performance in Ukraine stands as a testament to Queen's enduring legacy and their ability to unite generations through music, almost two decades after Freddie Mercury's passing.
