In fact, their latest studio album preceding this live recording was “Death Magnetic,” released in 2008. Now, the anniversary celebration took place over a few nights at The Fillmore in San Francisco, where the energy was, let’s say, electric! Not only did they play iconic hits, but they also welcomed a collection of fellow artists—like Apocalyptica and Armored Saint—creating a mix of nostalgia and excitement. It was a moment to reflect on their journey, from intense garage gigs to headlining stadiums; all in all, it was a tribute to their legacy and the community forged around metal music.
