Just before the Munich gig, they had released "Hardwired... to Self-Destruct” in late 2016, showcasing their continued evolution while tapping into their classic vibe. Interestingly, this live performance of "Fuel" highlighted not only their impressive musical prowess but also their ability to connect intimately with fans, despite the grandeur of the stadium setting. Who could forget that electrifying atmosphere? Watching a live Metallica show is almost like a rite of passage for rock fans—each riff and drumbeat echoing like a battle cry that transcends generations.
