In September 2021, Metallica took the stage at the Metro in Chicago for a stunning showcase of their iconic sound during the "Harvester of Sorrow" performance, a track from their critically acclaimed 1988 album *…And Justice for All*. At this point in their career, the band was well past their heyday of the 1980s and 90s, yet they were still riding high, having recently released their ambitious 2020 covers album *The Metallica Blacklist*, which featured reinterpretations of their classic tracks by various artists. The live atmosphere in such an intimate venue gave fans a chance to connect with the band on a personal level. It’s a little fascinating to think about, isn't it? In a world dominated by massive arenas, here was Metallica, an absolute titan of metal, delivering their hard-hitting riffs in a setting that was nothing short of legendary. The energy must have been electric!
