The Who

In March 1976, The Who were riding high on the success of their rock opera, *Quadrophenia*, which had been released in 1973. Leading up to the Fort Worth concert, they’d also just put out the album *The Singles*, which was a compilation of their biggest hits, showing off their incredible versatility and impact on rock music. Interesting to note, during this period, The Who were known for their explosive live performances, an experience that often felt like a chaotic whirlwind, especially with the high energy of Pete Townshend's windmill guitar plays and Roger Daltrey’s commanding stage presence. The Fort Worth show is a perfect embodiment of this raw power, featuring classics like "Baba O'Riley" and "My Wife," not to mention a range of die-hard fan favorites.
