The Who

In June 2007, when The Who took the stage at the Olympiahalle in Munich, they were deep into their European tour, showcasing their classic hits alongside newer material. This live performance came just after the release of their album “Endless Wire,” which had landed in 2006 as their first studio album in over 24 years! Talk about a long wait! “Endless Wire” introduced fresh tracks like “Be Lucky” and “Fragments,” bridging the gap between their iconic sound and contemporary themes. Interestingly, this Munich show was the 17th on their tour, reflecting their undeniable energy and commitment to delivering powerful live performances despite the passage of time. The setlist didn’t disappoint, featuring crowd favorites such as “Baba O'Riley” and “Who Are You,” reminding fans that the spirit of rock 'n' roll is alive and kicking. It’s a testament to their enduring legacy—what a ride they’ve had!
