The Cure

In 2007, The Cure was basking in the glow of their then-latest album, *4:13 Dream*, released just a few months earlier in October. By the time they played live at the AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong on July 30th, they were already well into the summer leg of their tour to support this record. It’s worth noting that this was a significant period for the band. *4:13 Dream* marked their return after a five-year gap, showcasing a blend of their familiar melancholic sound infused with fresh energy. During that tour, they delivered fan favorites like "Friday I'm in Love," a track rich in catchy hooks that perfectly encapsulates their signature style. One interesting tidbit is that their live performances during this era were often extended, with the band allowing improvisation and spontaneous moments, making each concert a unique experience.
