The Cure

In August 2019, The Cure took the stage at Suvilahti in Helsinki for a live performance that highlighted their enduring artistry and vital presence in the music landscape. Just prior to this, the band had released *4:13 Dream* back in 2008, a studio album that showcased their signature blend of post-punk and eclectic sounds. Even though they hadn't released new music in a while, their live shows remained highly anticipated events for fans, often weaving through their extensive catalog with iconic hits like “Just Like Heaven” and “In Between Days,” both of which were performed during this show. Interestingly, despite being around since the late ’70s, The Cure continues to resonate with both new and old audiences—a testament to their masterful ability to capture emotion and create an unforgettable experience. Their show in Helsinki further cemented their reputation as one of the most beloved bands in alternative rock history, still pushing the boundaries of their sound.
