In March 2013, Blur was enjoying a remarkable renaissance, having recently released their album "The Magic Whip" just a couple of years later, in 2015. However, prior to that, they had embarked on a celebratory tour after a hiatus, including this lively performance in Buenos Aires at Quilmes Rock. It was a significant moment in their journey, as the band’s classic tune "Girls & Boys" acted as a triumphant opener that night, energizing the crowd and reminding fans of their Britpop glory days. What’s fascinating is that this gig was part of their comeback after years of exploration into different sounds, showcasing a perfect blend of nostalgia and new energy. While the band had evolved, they still knew how to captivate their audience with infectious melodies and relatable lyrics. It was a brilliant showcase of how their music, much like good wine, got better with time!
