Notably, this performance came just a few years after the release of their acclaimed album "King Animal" in 2012, which marked their first studio album in over 15 years. The album was well-received, showcasing their signature blend of heavy riffs and complex lyrics. It’s intriguing to consider how "Spoonman," a track from their earlier work on the iconic album "Superunknown," continues to resonate. This live recording not only exemplifies their enduring legacy in the grunge scene but also highlights the band’s ability to mesmerize audiences with their profound sound. Sadly, this performance would be one of their last, as frontman Chris Cornell passed away just a year later, lending a bittersweet weight to the event.
