Leading up to this live recording, he had recently released the album 'Triplicate' in March 2017, a triple LP that features a splendid collection of classic American songs. By this time in his career, Dylan had firmly established himself not just as a musician but as a cultural icon—having won numerous awards including the Nobel Prize in Literature. Interestingly, this performance is part of his never-ending tour, which has seen him play around the globe for decades.
