Foo Fighters

Back in May 2015, when Foo Fighters rocked the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, they were riding high off their 2014 album, "Sonic Highways." This album wasn’t just another collection of songs; it was a bold exploration of musical history, inspired by different American cities—and yeah, it featured some pretty cool collaborations. So, by the time they took the stage in Sunderland, the band was already basking in the success of their new sound, which was rooted in a mix of their classic rock vibes and adventurous experimentation. Interestingly, this live show also came just as the band faced some tumultuous moments; they had to cancel a handful of dates due to frontman Dave Grohl’s leg injury shortly after this concert. Yet, witnessing them perform “The Pretender” live was undoubtedly a thrilling experience, as fans could see their resilience and raw energy up-close. It’s those moments that remind us why we love live music, don’t you think?
