Red Hot Chili Peppers
Red Hot Chili Peppers Live Performance of Out In L.A. at Skate Park, USA
Let’s take a little trip back to November 30, 1987. The Red Hot Chili Peppers were brimming with energy in those days, right on the cusp of something big. Just before this live recording at the Uptown Lounge in Athens, they released their third studio album, “The Uplift Mofo Party Plan” (1987). This album marked a pivotal point in their sound, full of that funk-rock blend they'd become known for. Interestingly, it was the last album to feature original guitarist Jack Sherman. Can you imagine the vibes at that skate park? The energy—each note and lyric tinged with youthful abandon! It’s wild to think this was before they truly hit the mainstream; they were still carving their niche in the music scene. This live recording encapsulates that raw, lively spirit long before the Chili Peppers skyrocketed into global fame!
