Red Hot Chili Peppers Perform 'Can't Stop' at Snowboard Grand Prix, Park City, UT

Venue: The Canyons Location: Park City, Utah, United States Date: December 20, 2002

On December 20, 2002, the Red Hot Chili Peppers delivered an electrifying performance at the Snowboard Grand Prix in Park City, Utah. This live set came shortly after the release of their album *By the Way*, which hit the shelves in July of that same year. Interestingly, *By the Way* showcased a more melodic and introspective side of the band, moving away from the heavy funk rock sound that marked their earlier works. You could feel the chemistry between the band members during the concert, as they effortlessly blended genres and showcased their musicianship. It’s cool to note that this marked a period of revitalization for the band, following a transitional phase with changes in their lineup and musical direction. During this performance, fans were also treated to the hit "Can't Stop," which, like much of the album, demonstrated their unique ability to merge emotionally charged lyrics with infectious grooves. The energy of that night must've resonated perfectly with the spirit of the sport!
