When the Red Hot Chili Peppers rocked the AT&T Center in San Antonio on November 30, 2016, they were deep into the promotion of their album *The Getaway*, which had dropped earlier that year. It was the first album not to include their long-time guitarist, John Frusciante, who had departed the group again, and it showcased Josh Klinghoffer's evolving role in the band. The live performance of "Breaking The Girl" not only highlighted their ability to innovate musically but was also a significant moment as it was performed for the first time during this tour.
