Red Hot Chili Peppers

On October 18, 2017, the Red Hot Chili Peppers took the stage at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona, as part of their "Getaway World Tour." This tour followed the release of their album "The Getaway," which had hit the shelves just a few months prior, in June 2016. This album was notable for its fresh sound, incorporating a more polished production style than some of their earlier work. It was also their first album produced by the famed Danger Mouse. At this point in their career, the band was riding the wave of renewed creativity and critical acclaim, a testament to their ability to evolve while staying true to their funky roots. The live performance showcased their energetic stage presence and affinity for improvisation, hallmarks of their long-standing appeal. Interestingly, this show was also a part of their comeback phase after some lineup changes and a return to the road that delighted both long-time fans and new listeners.
