Pixies

On December 7, 2019, the Pixies took the stage at The Town Hall in New York, bringing a burst of energy with their performance of "Bird of Prey," a track from their album *Beneath the Eyrie*. This album, which dropped in September of the same year, marked their return to form, receiving acclaim for its blend of dark themes and infectious melodies. What’s particularly interesting is that *Beneath the Eyrie* was their first release after a five-year hiatus, following *Head Carrier* in 2016. The live recording not only showcases their signature sound but also highlights how they’ve managed to evolve while remaining true to their roots.
