AC/DC Live Performance of Powerage at Atlantic Record Bar Convention Nashville

Venue: Altantic Record Bar Convention Location: Nashville, Tennessee, United States Date: August 8, 1978

In August 1978, AC/DC was tearing it up during the Powerage tour, showcasing their electrifying performance and raw energy at the Atlantic Record Bar Convention in Nashville. Just a few months prior, in April, the band released their iconic album 'Powerage,' featuring fan favorites like 'High Voltage' and 'Rock 'n' Roll Damnation.' This album solidified their standing as a hard rock powerhouse, driving home their signature sound. Interestingly, around this time, guitarist Angus Young was already known for his wild stage antics, often performing in his trademark schoolboy outfit, which would go on to become legendary. This live concert captured the band in their element, as they were on the cusp of achieving massive global success, just before their monumental album 'Highway to Hell' would drop the following year.
