In November 1990, AC/DC lit up the Spectrum in Philadelphia with a live performance that showcased their electrifying anthem "Thunderstruck.” This concert came shortly after the release of their album "The Razor's Edge" in 1990, which marked a triumphant return for the band after a series of lineup changes and a brief hiatus. The album was pivotal, featuring the hit singles "Moneytalks" and "Are You Ready", as well as being their first album released under their label, Atco Records. With Brian Johnson's raucous vocals and Angus Young’s signature guitar work, the performance captures the raw energy that defines AC/DC. Interestingly, "Thunderstruck" became one of the band's most iconic songs, often serving as a rousing opener at their concerts, and is celebrated for its infectious riffs and high-energy vibe, making it a perfect fit for a live recording.
