Deep Purple

In June 2001, Deep Purple was riding high on the resurgence of classic rock and metal, performing live at the Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, USA. Just prior to this recording, they released 'Abandon' in 1998, which included tracks that showcased their evolution while still paying homage to their roots. Ironically, just three years later, they were touring to promote their energy-packed performances featuring hits spanning their extensive catalog. The band’s lineup during this period included the legendary Ian Gillan and Steve Morse, whose guitar work always rekindled the band’s signature sound.
