Linkin Park

The album marked a notable shift in their musical style, steering away from the nu-metal roots evident in earlier works. During this live recording at the AOL Music Sessions, the band showcased the emotionally charged track "Given Up," which delves into themes of frustration and despair, perfectly capturing the album's overarching tone. This session highlighted the band's transition towards a more mature sound and the growing depth of their lyrical content. Interestingly, "Given Up" features one of the longest screams ever recorded by lead vocalist Chester Bennington, bringing an intense energy to their live performances that fans have always cherished.
