This shift was partly a reaction to the band's dynamic evolution over the years, emphasizing themes of frustration and resilience. Interestingly, 'The Hunting Party' was also the last studio album featuring the full lineup before the tragic passing of lead vocalist Chester Bennington in 2017. Fans at the Nürburgring were treated not only to classics like 'In the End' but also to new tracks, as the band aimed to blend the nostalgia of their past with their current artistic direction.
