Stone Temple Pilots

On April 28, 2015, Scott Weiland delivered a powerful cover of 'Unglued,' originally by Stone Temple Pilots, during a live performance with his band, The Wildabouts, at the House of Blues in Boston. This performance came after the tumultuous period faced by Stone Temple Pilots, who had seen Weiland depart from the band again in 2013. Just prior to this recording, STP released their self-titled album in 2010, marking their first studio release without Weiland after his initial departure. An interesting tidbit: by 2015, Weiland was working hard to redefine his solo career while still tethered to his STP legacy. This performance not only highlights his vocal prowess but serves as a bittersweet reminder of his volatile journey with one of the '90s most iconic bands.
