Nine Inch Nails

In August 2018, Nine Inch Nails delivered a powerful performance at Sonic Mania, showcasing tracks from their extensive discography. Leading up to this live recording, the band had recently released their acclaimed EP, "Bad Witch," in June 2018. This project represented the final installment in a triad of EPs, following "Not the Actual Events" and "Add Violence." Known for their genre-blending sound, Nine Inch Nails—fronted by the enigmatic Trent Reznor—blended industrial rock with electronic elements seamlessly during their set. Their performance in Chiba left a lasting impact, especially considering that Reznor himself has often remarked on the raw energy of live shows being a different experience than studio recordings. It’s fascinating how, even after decades, Nine Inch Nails continues to evolve while resonating deeply with their fans.
