Umphrey’s McGee

On October 14, 2018, Umphrey's McGee performed a live show at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. Prior to this concert, the band had released their studio album "It's Not Us" in January 2018 and would follow up with "It's Not Us" side B later in the year. At this stage in their career, Umphrey's McGee was well-established in the jam band scene, known for their intricate compositions and improvisational prowess. This performance captured the band during their ongoing evolution, blending progressive rock, jazz, and funk elements with a loyal fan base that appreciates their live sets. Notably, during this period, Umphrey's McGee had also pioneered unique fan engagement strategies, such as allowing fans to help select setlists for their shows, further enhancing the live experience.
