Journey

In the live recording of "La Raza del Sol" from November 30, 1999, Journey was riding a wave of revitalization after a period of lineup changes and evolving musical styles. This performance in Las Vegas came shortly after they released their album "Arrival" in 2001, which marked a significant return to the forefront of rock music with its modernized sound while still echoing their classic roots. Notably, this was the first album to feature guitarist Jeff Scott Soto, who contributed to the band's exciting new direction. Although recorded just before the album's official release, this live show encapsulated the band's renewed energy and commitment to messaging through music. It’s fantastic how these live moments combined with their contemporary work solidified Journey's legacy as a dynamic band, bridging past and present.
