Interpol

In the spring of 2011, Interpol was right in the midst of promoting their fourth studio album, 'Interpol,' which had been released just a few months prior, in September 2010. This live performance of 'Evil' at Disco Rodeo in Raleigh is a testament to their evolution, showcasing a matured sound while retaining the brooding essence that first captivated fans. Interestingly, this period marked a time of transition for the band, featuring new member Sam Fogarino on bass after the departure of original bassist Carlos Dengler. The energy in the venue that night must have been electric, as they blended their signature dark melodies with an engaging live presence, illustrating just how far they’d come since their early days in the New York City music scene.
