Interpol

In September 2014, Interpol was riding high after the release of their fifth studio album, 'El Pintor,' which had come out just a year prior. This album marked a notable return for the band, featuring a fresh sound while still capturing their iconic post-punk essence. The live performance at the Fox Theater in Oakland showcased the band in their element, with Daniel Kessler's guitar riffs resonating beautifully during 'Not Even Jail.' Interestingly, 'El Pintor' was the band's first album without bassist Carlos Dengler, who had departed in 2010, yet the chemistry among the remaining members—Paul Banks, Sam Fogarino, and Kessler—was palpable. The energy of this concert truly embodied the spirit of the album, a testament to their resilience and evolution as a band on stage.
