On August 27, 2003, Interpol performed live at the Manchester Academy 1, delivering a captivating rendition of 'C'mere.' At this point in their career, the band had recently released their sophomore album, 'Antics,' which dropped in 2004, shortly after this performance. 'Turn On the Bright Lights,' their debut album from 2002, had already started to solidify their presence in the post-punk revival scene. Interestingly, this period marked a transition for the band, as they began exploring more complex themes in their music, pushing the boundaries of their sound, all while retaining that moody yet melodic essence that defined their early hits.
