Portugal. The Man

In October 2011, Portugal. The Man found themselves at a pivotal moment in their career, right around the time they released their sixth studio album, 'In the Mountain in the Cloud'. This album marked a shift, gaining more widespread attention, thanks to their single 'So American.' By the time they performed 'Got It All' live on 89.3 The Current, they were expanding their audience and solidifying their unique sound—a blend of psychedelic rock and indie pop. What’s particularly intriguing about this performance is how it showcases their rich musical evolution. Just a few years ahead, they'd go on to achieve Grammy success, but at this point, they were still climbing, and that raw, infectious energy was palpable as they played in Providence.
