Paramore

In January 2009, Paramore was in a transitional phase of their career following the release of their third studio album, "Brand New Eyes," which came out later in the same year. At the time of the live performance of "Ignorance" in München, the band was riding the success of their previous album, "Riot!" (2007), which had catapulted them to mainstream fame with hits like "Misery Business" and "Crushcrushcrush." The performance, part of the Myspace Secret Show series, showcased the band's growing popularity and solidified their presence in the pop-punk scene. Notably, "Ignorance" was one of the lead singles from "Brand New Eyes," reflecting the band's evolution in sound and lyrical depth, as they began to tackle more complex themes in their music.
