Descendents

As of October 5, 2024, the Descendents were actively participating in the Punk in Drublic Fest, performing in a significant event celebrating punk music, coinciding with the last shows of NOFX. Prior to this live recording, their most recent studio album was "9th & Walnut," released in July 2021. This album marked a return for the band, showcasing material written in their early years but never recorded, solidifying their legacy in the punk rock scene. Interestingly, the Descendents are known for their blend of catchy melodies and thoughtful, sometimes humorous lyrics, seamlessly reflected in their live performances. The San Pedro concert exemplifies their enduring popularity and ability to connect with fans, a hallmark of their career that began in the late 1970s and continues to evolve, showcasing both their historical significance and relevance in the genre.
