Band of Horses

On September 18, 2012, Band of Horses delivered a stirring rendition of "Dumpster World" live at House of Vans in Brooklyn. At this point in their career, they had just released their fourth studio album, 'Mirage Rock,' in September of the same year. This album marked a shift towards a more polished sound, showcasing their evolution while still retaining the emotional depth that fans love. Interestingly, 'Mirage Rock' was produced by Glyn Johns, a legendary figure who had previously worked with The Rolling Stones and The Who, adding layers of history and expectation to their sound. The Brooklyn performance showcased the band's ability to connect with their audience in an intimate setting, infusing the night with the raw energy that live shows are known for.
