Band of Horses

In the summer of 2013, Band of Horses kicked off their set at the Squamish Valley Music Festival with a performance of 'The Great Salt Lake.' This live recording captures a band at a fascinating point in their evolution, right after the release of their third studio album, 'Infinite Arms' in 2010. This album, nominated for a Grammy, showcased the band’s growth and their blend of rock with poignant lyrical storytelling. Following this, they released 'Mirage Rock' in 2012, which further solidified their presence in the indie rock scene. At the Squamish festival, the energy was palpable, and fans were treated to an intimate yet electrifying atmosphere, illustrating the band's deep connection to their audience and their penchant for heart-stirring performances.
