Parquet Courts

In February 2018, Parquet Courts was riding high on the wave of their critically acclaimed album "Wide Awake!" which they released just the previous year. By this time, they had already established a reputation for their blend of punk rock energy and art rock sensibilities, something that came through in their vibrant live performance of "Psycho Structures" on KEXP. The recording was done at the Showbox in Seattle, showcasing their ability to translate their studio sound into an electrifying live experience. An interesting tidbit is that this live set contributed to their growing momentum, further cementing their place as innovative voices in the indie music scene. At this point, Parquet Courts had garnered a dedicated fanbase and were capturing attention for their thought-provoking lyrics coupled with infectious rhythms, perfectly illustrated in this performance.
