Interestingly, before 'Human Performance,' Parquet Courts had gained considerable traction with 'Content Nausea,' a 2016 release that was a collaborative effort. Their fresh take on existential themes during this period resonated greatly with fans, making this live recording a snapshot of an artist evolving, grappling with contemporary issues, and continuing to push musical boundaries while staying true to their roots.
