At this point in their career, the band had just released their acclaimed album "Wide Awake!" in 2018, which marked a significant moment in their evolution, blending punk, art rock, and dance influences. The album, produced by Danger Mouse, was a departure from their earlier sound and received widespread praise for its bold, experimental approach.
