Parquet Courts

On June 9, 2019, Parquet Courts performed 'Death Will Bring Change' at the Central Park Summer Stage, backed by members of the NYC School of Rock. This performance came shortly after the release of their critically acclaimed album 'Wide Awake!' which dropped just a month earlier, in May 2018. The album showcased the band's energetic blend of punk and art rock, earning high praise for its explorative sound and socially-conscious lyrics. Interestingly, 'Wide Awake!' reflects a point in their career where they began to embrace a more collaborative spirit, and this live recording exemplifies that communal energy.
