The Breeders

During their electrifying performance at the 2013 Pitchfork Music Festival, The Breeders were riding high on the success of their album 'Last Splash,' originally released in 1993, which remains a seminal work in the alternative rock scene. By this time, they had also released 'Mountain Battles' in 2008 and 'All Nerve' in 2018, marking their continued evolution as a band. The live recording of 'Cannonball,' arguably one of their most iconic tracks, showcases their rich harmonic textures and raw energy that pull fans into a whirlwind of nostalgia while also reflecting the band's dynamic presence today. It’s interesting to note that this festival appearance came during a resurgence of interest in the group, characterized by their strong live shows, and enthusiasm from both longtime fans and newer audiences alike.
