The Breeders

On August 26, 2013, The Breeders performed their classic tune "Drivin' On 9" at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz, CA. This live recording comes after they released their fourth studio album, "Mountain Battles" in 2008, which marked a significant phase in their career following a lengthy hiatus. Interestingly, their lineup for this show included the twin sisters Kim and Kelley Deal, still imbuing their music with that signature blend of melodic charm and raw energy. The concert was part of their reunion efforts, which rekindled the band's cult following and showcased their enduring appeal, showing that even years later, they still know how to rock a crowd while staying true to their indie roots.
