Derek and the Dominos

This album, featuring iconic tracks like 'Layla' and 'Bell Bottom Blues,' showcased Eric Clapton's blistering guitar work and heartfelt lyrics, drawing from his tumultuous personal life, particularly his love for Pattie Boyd. The live recording of 'It's Too Late' from The Johnny Cash Show captures the band at a pivotal moment, blending rock and blues with the raw authenticity of a legendary venue like the Ryman Auditorium. Interestingly, this appeared on TV a couple of months later, in January 1971, allowing fans a glimpse of the band's chemistry and musicianship during a crucial time in their journey.
